TRAILER TALES LLC

Warranty Policy

Warranty Policy

Effective Date: October 23, 2026

At Trailer Tales LLC, we want our customers to understand what warranty coverage may apply to their purchase. Because we sell different types of products from different manufacturers and suppliers, warranty terms can vary by product.

This Warranty Policy explains the general approach to warranty coverage for trailers, shipping containers, portable restrooms, and related products sold by Trailer Tales LLC.

1. Warranty Coverage

Warranty coverage depends on the specific product, manufacturer, supplier, model, and applicable warranty documentation.

If a product includes a manufacturer’s warranty, the applicable warranty terms will be provided with the product or made available to the customer where applicable.

A warranty may cover certain defects in materials or workmanship for a specified period, subject to the manufacturer’s terms and exclusions.

Not every product necessarily carries the same warranty.

Customers should review the warranty information associated with the specific product before purchasing.

2. Trailer Warranty

Trailer warranty coverage may vary depending on the manufacturer and trailer model.

Depending on the applicable warranty, coverage may include certain defects in:

  • Manufacturing
  • Materials
  • Workmanship
  • Specific components

Warranty coverage may exclude normal wear and tear, misuse, accidents, improper maintenance, unauthorized modifications, overloading, or damage caused by improper operation.

The applicable manufacturer’s warranty controls where a manufacturer’s warranty is provided.

3. Shipping Container Warranty

Shipping containers may have different warranty or condition terms depending on the container’s type, age, condition, manufacturer, and product listing.

For new containers, any applicable manufacturer’s warranty will be identified in the product documentation.

For used or refurbished containers, warranty coverage may be limited or unavailable unless specifically stated in the product listing or purchase documentation.

Customers should carefully review the condition and warranty information before purchasing.

4. Portable Restroom Warranty

Warranty coverage for portable restrooms depends on the specific product and manufacturer.

Warranty coverage may apply to certain manufacturing defects or components where expressly provided.

Normal wear, misuse, improper cleaning, vandalism, accidental damage, unauthorized modifications, and damage caused by improper use may not be covered.

Service, cleaning, pumping, relocation, and maintenance are not automatically considered warranty services unless expressly stated in writing.

5. Manufacturer Warranties

When a product is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, the manufacturer may be responsible for administering and determining warranty claims.

Trailer Tales LLC may assist customers in communicating with the applicable manufacturer or supplier when appropriate.

Warranty claims may be subject to the manufacturer’s procedures, documentation requirements, inspection requirements, and approval.

6. Warranty Period

The warranty period varies by product.

The applicable warranty period will be determined by the specific product, manufacturer, warranty documentation, or purchase agreement.

The warranty period may begin on the date of purchase, delivery, or another date specified by the applicable warranty.

Customers should retain their purchase documentation for warranty purposes.

7. What Is Not Normally Covered

Unless specifically stated otherwise in the applicable warranty, warranty coverage generally does not include problems caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidents
  • Abuse or misuse
  • Negligence
  • Improper loading
  • Overloading
  • Improper towing
  • Improper installation
  • Improper maintenance
  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Unauthorized repairs
  • Alterations
  • Vandalism
  • Environmental damage
  • Improper storage
  • Failure to follow manufacturer instructions
  • Use outside the product’s intended purpose

Specific exclusions may vary by manufacturer and product.

8. Maintenance and Proper Use

Customers are responsible for properly maintaining and using their products according to applicable manufacturer instructions.

For trailers, this may include appropriate maintenance of tires, wheels, bearings, brakes, lights, suspension components, and other applicable equipment.

For shipping containers and portable restrooms, customers should follow applicable care, placement, cleaning, maintenance, and usage instructions.

Failure to properly maintain or use a product may affect warranty coverage.

9. Modifications and Repairs

Unauthorized modifications or repairs may void or limit applicable warranty coverage.

Customers should contact Trailer Tales LLC or the applicable manufacturer before making significant modifications or repairs when they believe a warranty issue may exist.

10. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product has a warranty-related defect, contact Trailer Tales LLC as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide:

  • Customer name
  • Order or invoice number
  • Product information
  • Date of purchase
  • Description of the issue
  • Photographs or videos when appropriate
  • Relevant documentation

Additional information may be requested depending on the nature of the claim.

11. Warranty Inspection

A warranty claim may require inspection by Trailer Tales LLC, the manufacturer, supplier, service provider, or another authorized party.

The product may need to be inspected before a warranty claim can be approved.

Customers should not dispose of, modify, repair, or materially alter the affected product before receiving instructions when doing so could interfere with an inspection or warranty determination.

12. Warranty Remedies

If a valid warranty claim is approved, the applicable remedy will depend on the product and warranty terms.

Possible remedies may include:

  • Repair
  • Replacement of a covered component
  • Replacement of the product where authorized
  • Manufacturer-approved service
  • Other remedy provided under the applicable warranty

The applicable manufacturer or warranty provider determines the remedy where the manufacturer’s warranty controls.

13. Shipping and Transportation for Warranty Claims

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated in the applicable warranty, customers may be responsible for transportation, shipping, towing, delivery, or other costs associated with bringing a product to an authorized service location.

Warranty transportation arrangements may vary depending on the product and manufacturer.

Customers should contact Trailer Tales LLC before arranging significant transportation related to a warranty claim.

14. Warranty Does Not Replace Safe Operation

A warranty does not replace the customer’s responsibility to operate and maintain the product safely.

Customers must follow applicable manufacturer instructions, weight ratings, towing requirements, maintenance schedules, safety instructions, and applicable federal, state, and local laws.

For trailers in particular, customers are responsible for ensuring that their tow vehicle and equipment are properly rated for the trailer and intended load.

15. No Transfer of Warranty

Warranty transferability depends on the applicable manufacturer and warranty terms.

Some warranties may be transferable while others may apply only to the original purchaser.

Customers should review the applicable warranty documentation for transfer requirements.

16. Changes to Warranty Terms

Warranty coverage is determined by the applicable product warranty, manufacturer documentation, purchase agreement, and applicable law.

Trailer Tales LLC may update this general Warranty Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Any specific written warranty provided with a product will control to the extent of any inconsistency with this general policy.

17. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to remove or limit any warranty, guarantee, or consumer protection that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable federal, state, or local law.

Customers may have additional rights depending on their location and the product purchased.
